Jean Wolford is the owner/operator of Jean Wolford Photography LLC, who believes in the power of laughter and movement in helping everyone enjoy getting their photo taken.  She began the journey almost 9 years ago as an aspiring photographer when an artist out of Alaska contacted her about painting one of her photographs and has now become a household name within her community.

 

Her biggest accomplishment to date has been the Star Front Porch Project 2020.  The project was picked up by local and national news channels during a difficult time within an unprecedented pandemic.  She rallied 100 homes in a short few weeks and captured photos of their families, on their front porch.  Monies raised from the additional purchases was then donated to the local outreach program, which services more than 10,000 families within the community every year.  The city of Star, Idaho recognized Jean as the Q1 Community award for her commitment and dedication to the City of Star and the Star Community through the Front Porch Project.  They were quoted as saying “You brought us together when coming together was hard”.

 

Jean focuses on making photo sessions fun again for families.  In her venture to create a relaxed and engaging experience for her clients, including spouses and children, she focuses on movement and laughter in her work.  Her main genre is all things family, from maternity to newborn, family sessions and seniors.  She accepts a limited number of wedding each year and gives them an entire experience.  It is in creating lasting impressions and lifelong clients/friends that she find the most joy and satisfaction.
